Jörgensen is a casual dining Nordic fusion restaurant located in the most up and coming area in the Reykjavík city centre. The main focus of Jörgensen is to offer a taste of Iceland’s finest modern cooking with an unexpected twist in a memorable and welcoming atmosphere.

Jörgensen has a lunch and dinner menus along with the creative street food. The head chef specialises in mixing together traditional and new modern ways of cooking along with finding new exotic ways in blending various types of cuisine with the traditional Icelandic way.

Make sure to check out their popular happy hour, which is from 16:00 – 18:00 every day. During happy hour Jörgensen offers great deals on street food and on their selection of beers and wines.

Visiting from Canada and celebrated a birthday dinner there, the food was beautifully prepared and presented; our waiter was charming and professional and gave excellent food recommendations. Little farther walk from the main dining scene, but absolutely worth it.
