The Saga Centre in Hvolsvöllur offers a unique Njals’ Saga exhibition, where Njals’s Saga, the most famous of the medieval Sagas of Icelanders is introduced in several languages. The exhibition gives an overview of the world of the Sagas, the Viking age and the age of the settlement, but it was in the region of Hvolsvöllur that Njals’s Saga „took place“ one thousand years ago.
