The natural pool at Krossnes is one of the most interesting pools in Iceland. It is located in a remote place with stunning surroundings, mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. The pool and dressing rooms are well-maintained with showers. Although rare, you might be able to spot a whale from the pool swimming by the ocean. There is something fascinating about this cosy little swimming pool at the top of the world. Hot, natural spring provides a continuous flow of geothermal water into the pool and hot tub located down on a pebble beach overlooking the open North Atlantic Ocean. It’s always open but you swim at your own risk, and visitors are asked to leave a small fee in a box before leaving.
